What a show!!  Each and every student on the PAC stage contributed greatly to a magnificent Dance Experience…Unforgettably well done!  Congratulations, and thanks to all!

Fall Schedule, 2009 will begin on August 31!  Until that date, all classes are held as offered on your previous schedule.  All of your teachers will see you in class to celebrate the great work you have done over the last year.  Your teacher will openly communicate with you about the best classes for you in the coming dance season.  Don’t miss this time in class to dance, and to discuss your interests.  It is also the perfect time to register for the upcoming exciting new dance year!!!  Registration materials are available at each class. {Remember to register for Fall 2009 by September 14 to avoid the annual registration fee!}

Here are some important dates and events!!!

·        Tuesday, August 25, from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, there is a “Registration Information Day”.  Lori Silvaggio, Drew Silvaggio, and registrar Amy Norby, will be at the studio to talk with anyone who has questions about their personal schedule, artistic needs, or who has suggestions for the studio.  Please come in and feel welcome!!!  (or call 544-1230)

·        Attitudes, the Academy’s Jr. Contemporary Co. will hold auditions on Monday, August 31, 2009, at 3:30 pm in Studio One. Under the direction of Dana Lee, this creative troupe will explore new movement approaches this season.  Dancers ages 9 and up are invited to audition.  Students already enrolled need to re-audition.

·        Chamber Dancers, under the direction of Dana Lee will hold auiditions on Monday, August 31, 2009, at 6:30.  Dancers ages 12 and up are eligible.  Dancers already enrolled need to re-audition.

·        The Civic Ballet of San Luis Obispo is holding an audition for supporting roles in THE NUTCRACKER on Wednesday, September 2, at 6:30 PM.  Please pick up a Civic Ballet information sheet for requirements and advice.  Good luck!!!

·        Contemporary/Hip Hop is a new class added to the Academy schedule.  It will be held on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.  The class begins on September 1.  Register early.

·        Contemporary Partnering will be offered on Tuesdays from 8:00 to 9:00 pm beginning September 2.  Live music will be part of the class experience.  Register early to ensure your place in class.
