These policies ensures and safeguards the interests of students and studio alike.
The Academy has enjoyed 40 years of professional standards, creative approaches, and generous student teacher relationships.
Please help us be here to serve and encourage the arts for another 40 years. Your support and understanding is needed
now, as we support and deeply appreciate each student.
There is a non-refundable registration fee per year, per family, of 30.00. This fee
is due upon enrollment with your first tuition payment. Continuing students, who have not dropped from the Academy’s
program for one year, are not required to pay the fee if Fall’s registration is received by September 15, 2011.
If you register completely online through MINDBODYOnline, there will be no registration fee. (please follow the links

Dancers who wish to drop in may make a reservation online and only pay $18 as apposed to
$20. A professional rate is offered to dancers who have reached a certain level, please call the office to make a reservation.
Tuition is due by the 15th of each month. Tuition is non-refundable. For

A 5.00 per week, per class, late charge is added to each student’s tuition
bill if paying after the 15th of the month. Students are allowed to observe class, but not participate in class, if
tuition is over two weeks late. Arrangements may always be made over the phone with your credit card to instantly rectify
an account. In order for the Academy’s staff and facility to be here for you, your tuition needs to be paid
There is no increase
of tuition due to months with more than 4 classes. Accordingly, tuition is
not reduced due to absences incurred by illness, family vacation, or holidays. Remember, your tuition is required for
only 12 months of the year (12 x 4= 48 weeks), but actually covers 52 weeks of the year.
A student may make up any regularly scheduled missed class by attending a class of the same
level that their teacher recommends. Your make-up classes will be collected on your account with a maximum of 10 classes
at one time. When your account is closed for any reason, your make-up credits are void.
Registration Cancellation or Change
You must contact the office of The Academy of Dance to un-enroll in classes or fill out a Drop/Add form located in
the lobby. You must cancel your classes before the 15th of the month or you will be charged the full months tuition.
You must notify the office when changing number of classes that you are registered for. The monthly deadline for this
is the 15th or you will be charged for the full month of that class.
